TradeArena uses a small set of cookies and equivalent browser-storage items (localStorage, sessionStorage) to keep the platform working. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other sites.
Cookies and storage we use
Strictly necessary
- Supabase auth (
sb-*-auth-token) — keeps you signed in across page loads. Set by our authentication provider, Supabase. Without these you cannot use the platform. - Session state — short-lived items used during sign-up, OTP verification and password reset.
Functional preferences
ta_wl_v2— your saved watchlist of symbols on the Trade page.ta_*_pending— temporary state such as a chart "snap" you are about to attach to a reel.
Analytics
We use minimal first-party analytics to count visits and identify broken pages. We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other third-party trackers.
Disabling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data;
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data;
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data;
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.
Heads up: If you block strictly-necessary cookies you will be signed out and the platform will not function correctly.
Third-party cookies
The only third party that sets cookies on TradeArena is Supabase (auth tokens). Market-data providers (Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, Frankfurter) are called from your browser but do not set persistent cookies that we control.
