Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account on TradeArena or otherwise using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy and Risk Disclaimer. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Paper trading only

TradeArena is an educational paper-trading platform. All orders, balances, holdings, P&L, leaderboards and rewards are simulated. No real money is deposited, held, transferred or invested through TradeArena, and no real securities, crypto-assets or foreign exchange contracts are bought or sold on your behalf.

3. Eligibility

To create an account you must:

• Be at least 16 years old;
• Be a current student, recent graduate or staff member at a recognised Australian university (we verify via your .edu.au email or equivalent); and
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at tradearena07@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards, rewards or campus league standings;
• Use automated bots, scripts or scrapers against TradeArena other than as expressly permitted;
• Upload reels, lessons, comments or other content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, misleading, or that constitutes personal financial advice;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or to other users' accounts;
• Use TradeArena to facilitate market manipulation, "pump-and-dump" schemes or any other conduct that would be illegal in real markets.

6. Intellectual property

The TradeArena name, logo, navy/gold visual identity, lesson content, code and product design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark and other laws. You retain ownership of the trade theses, comments and reels you publish, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and promote them within the platform.

7. Third-party data

Market data displayed on TradeArena is provided by third parties (including Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, Frankfurter and Alpaca). It may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and we make no warranty as to its quality. You must not redistribute it for commercial purposes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeArena and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of your use of the platform, including any decision you make in real markets that was informed by simulated activity on TradeArena.

Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the in-app announcement banner or by email. Continued use of TradeArena after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and TradeArena submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
